Whether you are an individual innovator, an early-stage founder, or part of a team, KAMA welcomes ambitious problem solvers.

You do not need a registered company, a co-founder, or a finished product to apply. An innovative idea you can explain and defend is enough to start.

You can save and return at any point before the deadline.

Track 1 is Enterprise Challenge: solve real challenges identified by participating enterprises.

Track 2 is National Innovation: submit an idea addressing a major Ethiopian challenge.

You may submit one application per round.

Complete a short assessment designed to understand your reasoning, judgement, and ability to approach complex challenges.

Once you start, the timer runs and you cannot retake it.

Review your application carefully before submission.

Once submitted, your application will be locked and you will receive a confirmation and application ID.

Successful applicants progress through eligibility review, application evaluation, shortlisting, and final selection.

Selected innovators participate in a KAMA programme, working with enterprise partners to test, refine, and validate solutions in real operating environments.
